Ogunlewe quizzed
STRONG indication emerged yesterday that immediate past Works Minister, Adeseye Ogunlewe has been arrested by the police over the killing of Chief Funso Williams.

Indeed Daily Champion learnt that Senator Ogunlewe and other suspectes arrested in connection with the incident are being detained at Zone 2 headquarters, Onikan, Lagos Island.
The former minister was reportedly driven in his jeep with registration number CH 350 ABJ to the headquarters at 4.45pm accompanied by the Commander Area H, Ogudu, Lagos, Mr. Olusan, Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Our correspondent gathered that homicide detectives from the Federal Criminal Investigatyions Department (FCID) Annexe led by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Marcus Donaldi have commenced full investigation into Williams’ death last night.
However, another account said Senator Ogunlewe travelled abroad Tuesday night.
Contacted on the issue on phone last night, Force Public Relations Officers, Mr. Haz Iwendi declined comment.
