NDLEA recorded highest seizure of drugs in 2003 – Boss
ZAMFARA State Command of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), said weekend, it has recorded its biggest seizure of drugs since inception in 2003.

The command announced that it seized 194 kilograms of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp concealed in bags of second hand clothing from one Mallam Nasiri Mohammed Gidan Giga along Gusau - Zaria road.
The command also said that it arrested one Ojukwu Chineze with fives bags of weeds also suspected to be Indian hemp.
State Commander of NDLEA, Mr. Ibrahim Abdul, said while parading the suspects, that the command is poised to rid the state of illicit drugs.
The state commander also paraded 40 other suspects arrested with Indian hemp and circetropic substances.
Mr. Abdul said that the suspects were arrested in Gusau town and other places in the state.
According to him, in 10 days alone the command seized 312.6 kilograms of illicit drugs from dealers and hawkers.
