Announcing his return to the party at a colourful ceremony in his hometown, Igbeagu Abakaliki, weekend, Senator Ngele predicted a landslide victory at the polls for his new party in the 2007 general elections in the state.
Senator Ngele, who represented Ebonyi North Senatorial zone under the platform of PDP during the first tenure of the present dispensation, said for the party to achieve the feat, it has to put up a proper structure that would accommodate all shades of interest in the state.
He said that he was motivated to come back to PDP because the conditions that forced them out in the first place no longer exist.
"My change of heart is borne out of series of meetings and consultations with my teeming supporters and also the political climate which has opened itself for us to embrace ourselves warmly once again. You will agree with me that the situation today is not what it was when we went to the side," he said.
